Biography

Dr. Tridib Saha completed his PhD in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering from Monash University in 2016. He joined School of Engineering at Monash University Malaysia as a lecturer in 2017 and has since proven himself to be an excellent educator whose priority is the student's learning and achievements. He has consistently received some of the highest student satisfaction scores in his units and has received several awards and commendations for his teaching excellence and innovative practices. In 2022, Dr. Tridib was appointed as the Head of Education Academy at Monash University Malaysia. He currently leads the design, development, and implementation of expert training and development around research-led best practices in higher education learning, teaching & assessment.

Biography

Dr Caryn Lim completed her PhD in Urban Anthropology in 2018 and joined Monash University Malaysia as a lecturer and Academic Lead in 2019. She is currently the director of Education Excellence at Monash, a central unit which contributes to education strategy and supports the learning and teaching activities of the campus. This has included the provision of training, resources and advice to educators in the areas of assessment strategy, educational technology and contemporary approaches to learning and teaching.

Biography

Dr Prue Gonzalez is the Sub Dean, Learning and Teaching for the Faculty of Science and Health and a Senior Lecturer in Environmental Management in the School of Agricultural, Environmental and Veterinary Sciences. Her work explores how we navigate the complex and diverse interactions between people, space and place. Since 2010, Prue has specialised in teaching first-year students with a focus on the critical phase of student transition into university.
