Yanni MA is a student pursuing her doctorate at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). After obtaining her master's degree on language studies in Hong Kong, she worked at a higher education institution in mainland China before joining the doctoral program at CUHK in 2021. As a novice researcher in the field of women academics' career development in China, she is particularly interested in exploring topics related to academics' leadership, profession and experience, international learning experiences of doctoral students, and gender culture in higher education.

Biography
Yabing Liu is a first-year doctoral student at the Education University of Hong Kong with research interests in international and comparative education, intercultural adaptation, international student mobility, multicultural and international student affairs, and international doctoral education. She holds a master's degree in Educational Leadership focused on Higher Education Administration from the United States and has instructed at a local private university in Jiangxi province, China. Yabing has published journal articles on the adaptation and academic integration of international students and is a member of American College Personnel Association (ACPA), Michigan College Personnel Association (MCPA), and National Association of Student Personnel Association (NASPA). Additionally, she serves as a research specialist at Midwest Institute for International/Intercultural Education (MIIIE).

Dr Megan McIntosh is a Teaching Specialist, Arts Teaching Innovation (ATI) in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Melbourne. Megan teaches several capstone subjects in the Executive Master of Arts, supporting students to pursue internships or research theses that apply coursework knowledge to the professional workplace or a particular discipline or study area. Megan’s research is in international education, language and literacies.
Megan is interested in the internationalisation of post-secondary institutions, student experiences of navigating international student identities, academic advising in culturally and linguistically diverse universities, and global Englishes and language learning in high-stakes academic environments.
