Biography
Dr Estee Ch'ng, AFHEA Associate Lecturer, International Business, Western Sydney University
Prior to joining academia, I held senior marketing and project management roles in Australia, Singapore, Britain, and New Zealand. As an educator, Dr Estee Ch'ng has extensive experience teaching a range of subjects at the TAFE, undergraduate and postgraduate levels in marketing, international business and strategy, including capstone projects.
Her teaching approach encourages students to actively learn through engagement, critical thinking, and team collaboration. She is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA). Estee has received multiple University of Sydney Dean's Citation for Tutoring awards (2014 & 2015). Her current research interest and scholarship for teaching and learning are in the area of work integrated learning (WIL), bringing real-world experiences into the classroom to prepare students for industry job readiness.

Biography
Dr Kylie J. Stevenson is Academic Chair, Graduate Research Education and Training at Murdoch University. Previously, Kylie led the HDR Learning Support team at Edith Cowan University. Kylie is also an associate investigator with the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Digital Child, a collective of nationally and internationally renowned scholars whose research innovates and intersects across fields of health, education and technology to investigate young children’s digital experiences. In 2022 and 2023, Kylie was chief investigator leading an industry partner research project with the LEGO Group (Asia Pacific), Digital safety and citizenship roundtables: using consultation and creativity to engage stakeholders (children, policy influencers, industry). Her research expertise includes children and technology, media and communications, creative methodologies, and higher degree pedagogy. Kylie is editor-in-chief of Media International Australia Journal, and co-editor of the Routledge Companion to Digital Media and Children (2021) and Digitising Early Childhood (2019). Her most recent book is Digital Media in Early Childhood (2024).

Dr. Tridib Saha is an Associate Professor and the Director of the Education & Training Academy, a key unit within the Vice President Education portfolio. Dr. Saha is leading initiatives to improve the educational practices within the university, with an emphasis on positioning Monash University Malaysia's educators as leaders in higher education. His efforts include strengthening leadership in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), acknowledging staff achievements, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Additionally, Dr. Saha plays a crucial role in enhancing Monash Malaysia's reputation as a provider of industry-relevant professional development and a contributor to the nation's skilled workforce-building ambitions. Dr. Saha's commitment to education has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the VC Award for Teaching Excellence.

Biography
Malar is a distinguished education professional and leader in learning and teaching. Currently serving as Project Coordinator (Learning and Teaching) in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Curtin University, Perth, she previously undertook a secondment with Curtin Learning and Teaching as Senior Curriculum Advisor, where she contributed to the Course Teaching Quality Team.
She holds a Master of Education from the University of Western Australia, a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education (Mathematics and Business Studies) from Curtin University, and a Master and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Madras, India. An Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA), Malar is deeply committed to advancing pedagogical excellence.
Her career includes impactful roles at Curtin Malaysia, such as University Teaching and Learning Coordinator and Dean of the Learning Centre, where she championed high-quality teaching practices and facilitated foundational programs to enhance academic staff capabilities.

Ting Lee Hoon is a Senior Lecturer and Subject Leader at Temasek Polytechnic, Singapore, specialising in subjects such as Global Studies. She is the author of Managing Small & Medium Enterprises and has held leadership roles in strategic business management, product development, and market expansion across Asia Pacific with organizations like NXP, Arrow Asia Pac., and Future Electronics. Beyond academia, she is a dedicated mentor and a former volunteer with Singapore's Youth Executive Committee, reflecting her commitment to education and community development.

Biography
Dr Tahereh Pourshafie has teaching experience extending for thirty years in academic education and community development. Her specialty is in teacher education and in developing academic skills and English language proficiency for diverse student populations at universities and communities in India, Australia, Israel, and Botswana. She was Deputy Principal in Botswana in which she introduced new efficiency systems for the school’s operations.
Dr Pourshafie is a committed advocate of moral-based education and the promotion of peace and harmony to achieve community and environmental sustainability. She provides volunteer services to committees and groups, primarily in Baha’i communities, to build responsible personal and social values within international grassroots communities.

Siva Krishnan, PhD, SHFEA, MIEAUST is an Associate Professor in Engineering and Associate Head of School (Teaching and Learning) at Deakin University’s School of Engineering. He has provided curriculum leadership and support for several course improvement projects at Deakin and previously at the University of Newcastle, Australia. He has mentored academic and professional staff in learning and assessment design at program-level, with a particular focus on design for learner engagement and agency. Siva is an advocate for Work Integrated Learning and influences students and academic staff to have a greater connection with industry practitioners for employability skill development.
