Thomas is a higher education researcher whose work explores the implications of generative artificial intelligence for university teaching, learning, and assessment. Drawing on his background in philosophy, he examines how emerging technologies reshape core educational concepts such as academic integrity, feedback, and the purpose of assessment.

Biography
Sarah is Associate Dean Learning and Teaching, School of Medical, Molecular and Forensic Sciences. A teaching-focused academic, in Biology, Sarah is nationally and internationally recognised for her excellence and leadership in tertiary science education. Her recent teaching and research includes encouraging deeper, more transferable learning, and the development of inclusive curricula. Sarah has been focusing on what generative AI means for students transitioning into university: what they bring with them, foundational learning they need to succeed at university, designing curriculum and learning experiences informed by inequities in the generative AI space.

Biography
Schellie-Jayne Price (SJ) is an award-winning technology lawyer & leads the AI practice at Stirling & Rose – a law firm & technology policy institute supporting clients across multiple sectors to use AI lawfully and responsibly. SJ is an invited judge for AI competitions, e.g. the Australian leg of the United Nations “AI for Good” competition and the upcoming the Asia Pacific Legal Innovation Competition, Singapore. Hers was the first law school unit in Australia and New Zealand to use GenAI in coursework and the assessments.

Biography
Antony specialises in leading higher education change and transformation projects focusing on learning technologies. He played a key role in ECU's response to generative AI, across policy and guidelines, literacy professional development, genAI community of practice, and collaborative pilots and trials. He cuts through the hype to find out what works in genAI through use cases and supporting educators to experiment and share experience across the University.
