“Talk to us”: creating a disciplinary-focussed teaching podcast to support academic development: an autoethnographic study
Biography
Nigel is the Assistant Director of Teaching and Learning and an educator/researcher in Curtin’s School of Allied Health. Nigel is an occupational therapist. He is fascinated in how individuals thrive in their personal and professional lives. He completed his PhD entitled: 'The Influence of Clinical Placements on the Emotional Intelligence of Therapy Students' in 2019 - where he discovered my ongoing passion for everything related to emotional intelligence. He is the co-founder and deputy chair of the Emotional Intelligence Society of Australia. He teaches in many areas including vocational rehabilitation, ergonomics, leadership and management, emotional intelligence, and the core theories and philosophy of occupational therapy.
Nigel is the co-founder, producer, and co-host of the podcast titled “The Leaning Outcome”.

Biography
Barbie is the Director, Teaching Capability at Deakin University where she has responsibility for professional development, recognition and reward programs in learning and teaching, including leadership of the Deakin Academy of Learning and Teaching. Barbie’s academic background is in chemistry and she has held leadership roles in a number of Australian universities, including Associate Dean, Learning and Teaching for the Faculty of Science and Technology at Federation University, Australia. Barbie holds roles in teaching and learning leadership with AdvanceHE and the executive of the Council of Australasian Leaders of Learning and Teaching. Barbie is passionate about exploring the possibilities of digital learning, supporting the development of inclusive learning environments, and building capability and recognition programs for those who design, deliver, enable and lead learning and teaching.

He is a passionate and driven senior executive with over 25 years' experience in higher education, technology and large-scale digital transformation. Biography
Jacque is a lecturer and education focused academic at the School of Health Sciences, in the Faculty of Medicine and Health at UNSW, and a physiotherapist. As a UNSW university-wide Community of Practice co-lead she supports her peers in evaluation of their teaching practices. Jacque has many years working in health curriculum development including the development of teaching innovations. Jacque's main areas of research are new graduate health professional programs and innovations in education.

Biography
Daniela is the Nexus Fellow at the School of Health Sciences, in the Faculty of Medicine and Health at UNSW, as well as an Adjunct Associate Professor in Occupational Therapy at the Faculty of Health at the University of Canberra. As an academic, she is interested in programmatic assessment, interprofessional education and the use of arts and humanities in the higher education sector.

Biography
Associate Professor Kate Tregloan is Assoc Dean (Teaching and Learning), and Director of the Built Environments Learning + Teaching (BEL+T) group, in the Faculty of Architecture Building and Planning. The BEL+T group applies creative problem-solving and design-led approaches, evidence-based research methodologies and project-focused consultancy to improve teaching quality and student engagement in built environment disciplines.
Kate focuses on education and its contributions to interdisciplinary impact, the built environment, and addressing community need. She is most interested in the decisions and values that influence creative work, and how digital tools can support learning and making in education as well as in practice. Her PHD research focussed on experiences and education for design epiphany (aha!) and she still loves a good idea.
