Biography
Joanna Tai is Associate Professor at the Centre for Research in Assessment and Digital Learning (CRADLE) at Deakin University. Her research in assessment focuses on inclusion and diversity, feedback literacies, developing evaluative judgement, and student experiences across the university and workplace.
Joanna is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and a member of the Australian and New Zealand Association for Health Professions Education, and the European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction. She has a background in medicine and health professions education.

Biography
Assoc Prof. Angelina Fong is an education focused academic in the Department of Anatomy and Physiology at the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, and Health Sciences. She specializes in leveraging innovative technology to enhance the educational experience, particularly for large student cohorts. Her approach is centred around making complex scientific concepts accessible and engaging through the strategic use of digital tools. In addition to her technological expertise, A/Prof. Fong is dedicated to the integration of essential generic skills within the science and biomedicine curriculum. Her pedagogical strategies emphasize the development of critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication skills, ensuring students are well-prepared for their future professional endeavours.

Biography
Yating Hu is a PhD candidate in the School of Education at the University of Queensland, Australia. Her doctoral research seeks to understand the decision-making process of female students in Chinese STEM higher education from a sociological perspective. Yating’s research relates to higher education, STEM education, and gender inequality, with a particular focus on gender choices, learner identities (aspirations), and social mobility.

Enhancing Anatomy Learning through Multisensory Approaches: The Impact of Play-Doh Modelling and Body Painting on First-Year Health Sciences Students
Biography
Dr. Rowaida Sleem is a dedicated academic and lecturer in Human Biosciences at Flinders University, with over a decade of university teaching. Her expertise spans human anatomy and physiology, quantitative research, and sexual health education. Passionate about student-centred learning, Rowaida integrates innovative, multisensory approaches, such as body painting and Play-Doh modelling, to enhance engagement and retention. In 2024, she was honoured with three prestigious awards: the College of Nursing and Health Sciences Excellence in Teaching Award, the Vice President and Executive Dean Level A/B Academic Staff Award, and the Team Award for the Bachelor of Allied Health.
