Sandris Zeivots is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney Business School and the Interim Academic Director of Business Co-Design. He specialises in co-designed transformative educational development that is purposeful, engaging and meaningful. With a professional background in experiential education, Sandris draws on his expertise to explore the roles of meaningful engagement, learning spaces and co-design in creating impactful teaching and learning experiences in higher education. Sandris serves on the editorial board of Active Learning in Higher Education and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA, UK).

Jennifer Z Sun is a Lecturer in Finance at the University of Sydney, focusing her research on assessment and feedback design that fosters sustainable learning practices to encourage student growth and development. Manisha Hari Rajan - BMed Sci, BSci (Hons 1):
I am currently a third-year PhD candidate at the University of New South Wales, with a foundation in medical science. My professional experience includes working as a casual academic, contributing to the teaching of undergraduate pathology courses, and have had experience as a Student Ambassador at UNSW. My interest lies in enhancing the student learning experience, and my research project is centred on the development and evaluation of a variety of virtual learning environments (VLEs) and online learning tools within second- and third-year undergraduate medical science courses. The virtual environments and learning tools I have created aim to complement learning material alongside traditional teaching methods. My aim is to investigate how these learning spaces can effectively support and enhance the overall educational experience for students.

Professor Patsie Polly - BSc (Hons1), PhD, SFHEA:
Patsie is the Director and a Scientia Education Fellow, UNSW Scientia Education Academy, Education Focussed Academic, Professor in Pathology, and co-leads the Digital and Immersive Education Research Group within the School of Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine and Health, UNSW Sydney. Recognised nationally and internationally as a medical research scientist, leading teacher and innovative education researcher/practitioner, she has infused her extensive medical research experience into the classroom at UNSW Sydney to research integrated learning, facilitate student reflective practice and professional skills development. Patsie is an invited international AAEEBL Board member and committee member of ePortfolios Australia.

Alice is an Associate Professor in the School of Education at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ), Australia, with over twenty years’ experience in exemplary teaching in higher education (HE). Recipient of numerous awards, including the UniSQ Excellence in Teaching Award for Online learning Innovation, Alice has a strong track record of successful Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) fellowships, grants, and leading and working in research multi-disciplinary teams. Her research and publications focus on supporting online student engagement in HE, including the development of the world’s first ‘nudge protocol’; and advancing the Online Engagement Framework (OEF) for Higher Education with the addition of strategies that help inform real-world application.

Dr Sindu George is a Senior Lecturer in the National School of Education at Australian Catholic University, Melbourne Campus. She has taught across primary, secondary, and tertiary sectors in different contexts including Australia, UK, and India. Sindu's main research interests are teacher motivations, self-efficacy, goal orientations, STEM education, and inclusive education. She has experience in both quantitative and qualitative research methods. Sindu is particularly interested in cross-cultural studies, and her current research includes international projects comparing career motivations and aspirations of preservice teachers; and primary teachers’ understandings and concerns about teaching STEM, across various contexts; and working with preservice teachers and their transitions into the teaching profession. Sindu’s contribution to promoting scholarship by making an impact and engaging with end-users is evident through her research publications, involvement in research informed professional learning practices, and services in various capacities.

Biography
Megan is an Associate Professor and Graduate Research Lead (GRL) in the School of Curriculum, Teaching and Inclusive Education (CTI). As a qualified teacher, Megan has extensive experience in Australian and international educational contexts ranging from pre-kindergarten to the tertiary level. Megan’s research interest has a focus on inclusion and diversity, and in particular she is working towards understanding ways to reduce education inequalities for marginalised groups. One of her current research projects involves working with preservice teachers enrolled in a Master of Teaching degree, and their transitions into the teaching profession, and ways to support diverse learners in their school classrooms. Megan also works with school leadership and teachers (locally and internationally) to understand different perspectives concerning the recent and rapid changes in education and how this affects professional learning of teachers and in turn learners.
