Biography
Dr Elizabeth (Liz) Goode is a Senior Lecturer in the Academic Portfolio Office and in pathways education at Southern Cross University, Australia. Liz is currently researching the impact of immersive block models on students’ learning and achievement and leads the editorial team for a scholarship of learning and teaching paper series via the Social Science Research Network (SSRN). Liz is the recipient of numerous teaching awards, including an Outstanding Teaching Award and an Australian Office for Learning and Teaching Citation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning.

Biography
Associate Professor Erica Russ has extensive social work industry experience with a focus on children and families. She has held management and senior executive positions and led large strategic projects. Her primary research focus is on the social work career path from social work education to workforce issues including readiness, wellbeing, and resilience. Her research has included social work field education, child welfare, rural and eco-social work, and research that reflects children's voices. Her research interests focus on collaborative research using qualitative methodologies with an applied focus.

Biography
Deanna is a Senior Lecturer, Curriculum and Learning Design, at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). She has previously led and supported strategic projects in learning, teaching and research in universities in the United Kingdom and South Africa. Her current research focuses on educational policy critique and analysis, curriculum development on a range of scales, and academics’ experiences of these. Deanna’s cumulative experiences are evidenced through her recognition as both Principal Fellow and Associate Fellow (Indigenous Knowledges) of the Higher Education Academy. She was also part of the national and international award-winning transdisciplinary’ Design Impact Lab’ collaborative team at QUT.

Biography
Siva Krishnan, PhD, SHFEA, MIEAUST is an Associate Professor in Engineering and Associate Head of School (Teaching and Learning) at Deakin University’s School of Engineering. He has provided curriculum leadership and support for several course improvement projects at Deakin and previously at the University of Newcastle, Australia. He has mentored academic and professional staff in learning and assessment design at program-level, with a particular focus on design for learner engagement and agency. Siva is an advocate for Work Integrated Learning and influences students and academic staff to have a greater connection with industry practitioners for employability skill development.
