Biography
Professor Pauline Ross is the Director of Academic Leadership and Innovation in the Faculty of Science and immediate past Deputy Head of School of Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Sydney, Australia. With over two decades of senior educational leadership experience at large and diverse metropolitan universities, and two PhDs (Science and Higher Education) Pauline focuses on developing contemporary curricula that provide meaningful experiences for students which are relevant beyond graduation and supporting the academics who teach them. She is known for her education research which encompasses the resilience of academics, the importance of elevating Indigenous knowledge and the evolving academic workforce in higher education. Pauline is one of Australia's most awarded academics, with multiple national and international awards for educational and teaching excellence and educational leadership.

Biography
Yayan Rahayani is a PhD candidate in Education at the University of South Australia’s Centre for Islamic Thought & Education (CITE), focusing on the integration of local knowledge in international teacher development programs. Yayan holds a Master of Education in Leadership and Management from Flinders University (2009) and a Master’s in Sociology from the State Islamic University of Jakarta, Indonesia (2005). His research interests include culturally responsive education, teacher professional development, and the intersection of local and global educational practices.

Biography
Dr Collins Fleischner SFHEA is a Lecturer in the National School of Education at Australian Catholic University. He is also Associate Editor of the Journal of University Teaching and Learning Practice and Co-Chair of the Advancement of Teaching-Focussed Roles ISSOTL Interest Group. His current research interests include education focused academic roles, higher education policy, and student belonging.

Biography
Malar is a distinguished education professional and leader in learning and teaching. Currently serving as Project Coordinator (Learning and Teaching) in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Curtin University, Perth, she previously undertook a secondment with Curtin Learning and Teaching as Senior Curriculum Advisor, where she contributed to the Course Teaching Quality Team.
She holds a Master of Education from the University of Western Australia, a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education (Mathematics and Business Studies) from Curtin University, and a Master and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Madras, India. An Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA), Malar is deeply committed to advancing pedagogical excellence.
Her career includes impactful roles at Curtin Malaysia, such as University Teaching and Learning Coordinator and Dean of the Learning Centre, where she championed high-quality teaching practices and facilitated foundational programs to enhance academic staff capabilities.
