Stephen Abblitt (PhD) is a learning designer, academic developer, and third-space practitioner. He holds a MSc (Digital Education) from the University of Edinburgh and a PhD (English Literature) from La Trobe University. He has over fifteen years' experience working in educational technology, learning design, and academic development roles in higher education. He researches, presents, and publishes in the fields of literary studies, learning design, and post-digital education. He is currently Academic Development Manager at Keypath Education, where he leads initiatives contributing to enhancing academic quality and the student experience.

Dr Wade Naylor (MInstP) is a Lecturer in Physics, Mathematics, and STEM Education at Australian Catholic University. Formerly an Associate Professor of Theoretical Physics at Osaka University (2010–2015), he transitioned to high school teaching before returning to academia in 2022. His research focuses on Physics Education Research, misconceptions in physics and mathematics, and examining academic identities.

Dr Toni Dobinson is Professor, Discipline Lead in Applied Linguistics, TESOL/Languages and Post Graduate Course Coordinator in the School of Education at Curtin University. Her research extends across language teacher education and sociolinguistics in the areas of language and identity, language and social justice, linguistic racism and translingual practices. Her current research focuses on the experiences of migrants, refugees and international students on university campuses and in the wider local community with a particular focus on culturally and linguistically responsive teaching.

Dr Carly Steele is an applied linguist and a fully qualified teacher with over 12 years’ experience in diverse teaching contexts across Australia including urban cities, and rural and remote communities. Carly holds the positions of Senior Lecturer and Master of Education course coordinator at Curtin University. Her research aims to promote culturally and linguistically responsive teaching and assessment practices and she engages with diverse research methods with a focus on participatory action research in collaboration with school teachers.
